XYplorer

Had to add this to my Blog as it is possibly the most useful bit of shareware released (ever). XYplorer is a replacent for Explorer (MS File Manager). The major advancement is the use of tabs. This may seem like a small addition but it is the way of the world (Firefox, IE7 etc.)

And what a difference that small addition makes. There are other Explorer replacements that offer dual pane and even some that offer unlimited tabs (as XYplorer does). But none offer all the additional features that XY does, including a lightining fast (and super flexible) file search, a file and folder catalogue (that allows you to add your most used files and folders as shortcuts) and a super responsive developer (Betas with new functionality are released almost daily, the majority of the additions being by user request).

Take my word for it, this is £21 ($36) you won't regret spending. Check it out at http://www.xyplorer.com/ and be sure to check the forums to see all the additional functionality that has been added in the past few days, trust me you WILL be impressed.

Most of the Software I use and discuss on my Blog is Freeware, infact XY is one of the only peices of shareware you will find me raving on about, and if I paid for it, you know it's got to be worth it !!

Image below doesn't do XY justice - you can download a 21 day trial version and trust me if you deal with files or use Explorer on a daily basis you will be impressed.
